my DR-650cc, year 1994, Day 7 The Rsurrection:




testing the engine head after refurbish with water puddle
the clearnce after replacing the piston to 0.5 mm oversize and boring the cilinder was a little smaller than before and this time within the service limit
this how it looks like after cleansing, it was clogged with epoxy like gooey dry substance
another test for leaks is to press air from compressor through the intake and exhost entrance to see bubbles, in my case no problems were found
this nozzle was clogged, opening its path with a iron bristle helped my engine finaly start
my old carburator..I sold the new one that I bought long time ago for third of the price
