FETCHMAIL:
it brings the mail from your pop mail.
if there is sendmail installed redhat.mc must b
configured with localhost ip.
fetchmail needs the instalation ip like: 127.0.0.1
u need to change redhat.mc back, make it, copy it
to /etc/sendmail and
restart sendmail.
pop client: touch ~ron/.fetchmailrc and write in it:
poll pop.actcom.net.il with protocol pop3:
user ronen-s1 there is user ronen-s1 here
password "password"
chmod 600 ~ron/.fetchmailrc
chown ron ~ron/.fetchmailrc
(echo "hello ron" | mail -s "Hola" ron)
log on as user ron to the system and the mail client
fetchmail -v --> brings the mail in.
