ECI adsl modem:
install pppoe3.5.1.rpm than :make eth1 with dhcp, adsl-setup, adsl-start
err:after second install it disconnects every 50 sec.
at messages u c:
inactivity timeout something wicked happened/timeout
waiting for PADS ..:
go to ../network-scripts/ifcfg-ppp0 or
at:/etc/ppp/pppoe.conf and change:
PPPOE_TIMEOUT:480 LCP_FAILURE=5 LCP_INTERVAL=120 CONNECT_TIMEOUT=0
<-- so it will keep connecting all the time !
config file at: /etc/ppp/pppoe.conf
check:
user 1@1 ping 192.168.97.12 (no dns)
route -n to check what u have at ppp0
