ADDING ANOTHER IP TO THE SAME ETHERNET CARD
(2 host more than 1 domain):
ifdown eth0
at /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/
cp ifcfg-eth0 ifcfg-eth0:0
vi ifcfg-eth0:0 and change the ip address and
the card name: eth0->eth0:0
ifup eth0, ifup eth0:0
(it is possible 2 give the card a range of ips:
cfg-eth0:range192.168.1.5-9
also: add an ip in netconfig --> alias)
than put the other site:
create new dir here+1 line html page:
mkdir -p /var/www/html/virtual/second.site
add 2 the BOTTOM of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
the same script like before but with the different
ip and the second domain name:
NameVirtualHost 192.168.1.4 <-- the second ip (alias)

To manage http site by ftp move the side to home
dir of the user u want to manage, chmod his
home_dir, setup ftpd, enter in IE as the user+pass
To make a site inside another site:
add a user+ pass
at the dir ros.co.il put first index.html
(chmod 704 of root)
add 2 dirs:
site1, site2 ,chmod 705 site1 user1 (r+x),
chown user1 do the same to site2
