VNC:
X must be installed!
install vncserver+client
to enter LinuxcompA from any machine: vncserver :1
change at /root/.vnc/xstartup last line:
delete TWM and write instead: gnome-session &
must be in X mode, set password of 6 digits.
2 enter LinuxcompA from LinuxcompB or from windows:
vncviewer 192.168.1.15:1
from explorer: http:\\192.115.135.131:5801
2 enter windows(nt,2000) from linux: on windows
setup vncserver with
password of 6 digits. and from linux:
vncviewer 192.168.1.10
if it doesnt come up delete the file
/tmp/.X11-unix/X1
for starting vnc with boot put it in rc.local
and change .vnc/xstartup
from /
-errors:
-keyboard and mouse clicks doesnt work
--> close and reenter vnc.
