Symantec AV:
after u install the AV install the : symantec system center
add licence
right click:make server the primary server
tools | client remote install|ms windows network
| add the 2 xp stations
client administrator only options: the client to
c the AV icon from
98:\\server\vphome\clt-int\win32\setup gives an
error:root certificate
than install rootupd before !
configure the AV on the server: do not scan :exchange &
system32\certsrv
right click on office|scedual scan | scan trojans
check definitions: file\virus definitions\manager |
settings -40 minutes
lock with the locker: client autoprotection
check the: enable internet mail,
check out the: lotus notes (reset all to uncheck all)
download the script:xdbdown.cmd and change it from 0 to 1
add it to the sceduale to check for definitions every
day(put the admin password there also)
to every client make an install client
