PERFORMANCE:
diskperf -yv --> logical disk performance r set 2
start at boot
-n -->logical & phisical disk performance
will never start at boot
bad condition is when queue length never more than 2!
system monitor--> add --> %processor,%processor
time counter:
memory, available bytes
phisical disk, %disk read time
click--> freeze display, take the %processor time,
Crtl+H under object, right click memory,change scale.
save as system overview.htm
setting alerts: set printer offline,in console:
preformance logs and alerts
right click alerts, new alerts settings,
print queue,add,add printer, alert
when value is over 5, 10 seconds interval.
at action tab,send a network message type
server_name,start scan now.
