-at the client u can choose managed and unmanaged. at the managed it 
protects the computer but there is no sigh at the icons and u will 
not be able to run live-update from the station.
-u can deploy the client unty virus only at 2000,nt,xp.
-at the managed u c an icon & u can update localy.
-when u have exchange setup from mail server disk from 
~cdrom:\mse\savemse\server. an icon is placed at the desktop 
anf for exchange which u can scan for 
mailboxes viruses.managable at http://-ip-:8081
-norton for gateways scans smtp! managable at http//:-ip-:8003
errors:
-live update could not complet succesfuly
ver7.5:
setup on server disk 2 than disk 1 (password symantec), from mail menu 
choose nt workstation than add at the right.
errors: version 7.5 xp clients u get an error about "symevent.sys driver is 
incompatible with this version of windows".it does not work with xp stations!
Version 10:
quick scan,
telnet 2967 -check connection to station or:netstat -s(listening 2967)
clock of station must be as server
luall -all symatec updates
virus sweep-a scan directed from the server-cannot be stoped by any new station
grc.dat -an ini file with all station configuration
cd:\tools\grcdrop  , iforgot -if password has been forgotten ras pptpm,
configure dial up only, protocol tag, add point to point tunneling protocol,
number of virtual private network (reboot).
at dialer: new, ras pptpm, accept any authentication and clear text.
